Hi, I’m Amanda. I’m a licensed professional clinical counselor based in Kentucky with 10 years of experience helping individuals navigate anxiety, stress, and major life transitions. I specialize in working with adults and young professionals who feel overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or unsure about their next steps.

You might be juggling a demanding career, adjusting to a major life change, or simply trying to keep up with everyday stress and it’s taking a toll on your energy, focus, and confidence. I work with people who appear like they have it all together on the outside, but inside are exhausted, overthinking, or unsure how to move forward. If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.

My approach to therapy is supportive, down-to-earth, and practical. I’ll meet you where you are and help you make sense of what you’re feeling. Together, we’ll explore what’s not working and build strategies that help you feel more calm, clear, and capable.

Treatment Approach

field path

My work is rooted in a client-centered approach, which means I see you as the expert on your life and tailor treatment to support your goals, strengths, and needs.

I use an integrated model that blends evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, relational therapy, trauma-informed care, and others appropriate to you. Whether you’re working through early motherhood, navigating relationship stress, or simply feeling stuck, our work together will be collaborative, customized, and grounded in real connection.

Additionally, there is a growing body of research that supports the practice of self-compassion and mindfulness in psychotherapy. Neuroscience research reveals individuals that practice these techniques are happier, more resilient, and better equipped to heal painful memories from the past. It is my honor and mission to help my clients move past what’s blocking them from reaching their full potential individually and in their relationships.

“What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”

– Ralph Waldo Emerson
